LISTEN HERE OR FIND ME AT:
Jim R. Jabobs, LCSW, CWFC, joins me again to discuss how we as singles can openly talk to each other about pornography and sex addictions. I think this is extremely important as we all have at least been exposed to pornography, and many of us have either dated, been friends with, or had our own issues with pornography, and some with sex addictions. Jim can be found at https://jimrjacobs.com/or https://www.drivinglessonsforlife.com/. Please subscribe to me here, on YouTube, comment here or on my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/annettetalks/. Always glad to hear Jim’s advice and perspectives on the show. I really liked his emphasis on being compassionate with those we date. I also liked the reference to President Oaks’ counsel to “inquire well” (the full talk is in the April 2004 General Conference). The ability to openly and honestly communicate was something my ex and I had not developed prior to getting married, and definitely contributed to our divorce. Hopefully live and learn and do better in the future, right?! Thanks as always for the great content!
Great topic and advice.
Thanks! I think it’s very important!
